Alex Roudos (Greece) artist name - R.O.U.D.O.S.
As one of the pioneers of electronic music in Greece, R.O.U.D.O.S, has expended his arena and widen his audience since moving to the Netherlands. He has collaborated with, mixed and or remixed for and with some of the top acts in Europe, as well as creating a buzz about his work. At the age of 12 Alex, a.k.a. R.O.U.D.O.S. began studying the piano at 18 he became a D.J. A year later he set up his first studio to produce and joined the group "Universal Trilogy", the first electronic dance act in Greece. Since then Alex has been a busy man working with many artist and labels. In 2005 three of his songs were included in the compilation Eclectic Dance which was one of the best ever selling dance compilations in Greece. In June 2006 his Guitartronics was released on vinyl to great reviews and his remixes of "Snake" and "Feeling Goes On" by the band Pencilbrain, are said to be in a class all of their own. In October, 2006 Pencilbrain Records has released not one but 4 albums by R.O.U.D.O.S, Wicked City, Imbossable,Pandora Box and Eolos.

R.O.U.D.O.S breaks down genre and technological boundaries to make music that will unite the people of the world. Classical trained pianist R.O.U.D.O.S has a unique approach to exploring dance music. His compositions are experimental, alternative, and classical at the same time. His mixes are twisted, tweaked and they take you on a cohesively smooth journey that is complete and celebrating. His name is on the tip of many lips these days and it’s no surprise. It was not easy to make a selection from the 93 songs he sent us, but we've picked 11 revolutionary songs for this compilation album. All of the songs were previously released on Pencilbrain Records.
Presently Alex is co-writing and producing our newest artist, Big Boy Status, who he introduces to Pencilbrain Records and theirs latest release, BBS - On the Rise, is available now.

Born french/georgian, Glimmer lead singer Van Hechter grew up in Montreal.
His mom, a stylist, introduced him to punk, disco, garage, new wave, and motown music... His dad, a fashion/tv hairdresser and businessman, who sang constantly, encouraged his melodic aptitudes by making him vocalize regularly...
In college, he studied literature, arts and opera, but dropped out to join locally known punk band The Automatics, which was renamed Audiobing... Though the band's life span was short, 2 underground singles were released, 1 of which became known due to its position on Montreal's local pop charts...
After the dissolution of Audiobing, Van worked on various studio projects, and spent 3 years producing electro tracks for a New York record label.
Then, luck put a funny musician on his path; Dr. Jerome... In a store owned by Van's dad, one day Jerome walked in, as Van was filling in for an employee; within minutes, the 2 got along and decided to make music together... It was understood that Jerome would remain quasi-anonymous, while Van would take the front-stage... This encounter led to the formation of Glimmer... To thank Van's father for having in some way contributed to the formation of the group, the 82 year old was cast the as a chauffeur in the ''Wouldn't Change a Thing'' video... The response to this first single was encouraging, therefore the duo proceeded to the recording of a full album, entitled; Wouldn't Change a Thing.

Amsterdam (Holland) based indie/pop group Dress: Bjorn Uyens (guitars & vocals), Jochem Klijnman (keyboards), Maarten Kooijman (drums) for the past eight years has been quietly and steadily building a very solid, loyal fan base.
Dress built their sound upon the electric-charged hard rock of Neil Young and Radiohead’s album “Amnesiac”.
Deeply personal lyrics, distinctive guitar and signature tenor singing voice supported by polished Rhodes sound and drums characterize Dress. Although they accompany themselves on several different instruments including synths, midi controllers, bass and acoustic guitars this trio never looses its focus: simple, introspective, playful love songs.
The songs have edge, but never get carried away or turn into a wall of noise.
If you want to listen to great indie/pop songs on the bus with a melancholic twist, then you are in the right place with the latest Dress album “Everyman”.
This album is a perfectly blended concoction variety of melodies and harmonies wrapped around the story of a man who is avoiding any risks, to save a failing relationship.

“Everyman is a metaphor for all things that we hold on to, even though we know they are bad for us. We always try to do what we think others expect or would like us to do. But we don't know if we are right, until we try.”

Both born in the Netherlands and from different origins Young Wyatt (Atlanta, USA), Flyways (Ghana), they've got different ideas about hip-hop music. So in 2006, Revare Wyatt and Menka Worea a.k.a Young Wyatt and Flyways have formed the hip-hop/rap group Big Boy Status. In August 2007, Young Wyatt and Flyways met deejay/ producer R.O.U.D.O.S signed on Pencilbrain Records. “We at Pencilbrain Records took our a chances and let them open a label event in one of the most prestige’s clubs in Europe: "Paradiso", Amsterdam (Holland). They brought the house down; showing what hip hop music was all about before corporate influences.” ZT Tosha .
